Shelli Yoder

Better Indiana proudly endorses Shelli Yoder for Indiana Senate District 40.

An educator, nonprofit leader, and elected official, Shelli served for several years on the boards of the Head Start Policy Council, Bloomington Economic Development Corporation, and Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce. Between 2013 and 2019, Shelli was a Monroe County Councillor, where she worked to advance women’s healthcare and foster economic development. During that time, Shelli also joined the faculty at Indiana University, where she continues to teach as a senior lecturer at the Kelley School of Business.

In 2020, the residents of Monroe County elected Shelli to serve in the Indiana State Senate. If reelected, she hopes to continue championing bold, progressive solutions to the challenges facing Hoosiers. Among these, Shelli vows to fight for a healthy environment, a prosperous public education system, inclusive economic growth, and restored access to reproductive care.
