Better Indiana proudly endorses State Representative Mike Andrade for reelection to Indiana House District 12.

A proud public servant and small business owner, Mike has twice been recognized as “Legislator of the Year” by the Indiana Emergency Medical Service Association and the Indiana Fire Chiefs Association for his efforts advancing bipartisan public safety legislation. Among his most significant achievements, Mike oversaw the successful passage of HB 1396, the “Stop the Bleed” bill, which streamlined access to tourniquets in emergency situations. Mike also fought to save Hoosiers’ thousands of dollars by increasing Indiana’s Medicaid reimbursement to align with the federal rate.

If reelected, Mike will continue working to enhance emergency response capabilities and healthcare services across Indiana. One of the few Latino legislators in the Indiana Statehouse, he will also work to advance equitable access to opportunities in education and the workforce.
