Raised on a small family farm in New Castle, Jennifer recognizes the opportunities and challenges facing Hoosiers. While her community was full of love and support, Jennifer watched thriving neighborhoods slowly deteriorate as high-paying jobs left her hometown, leaving families, small businesses, schools, and local infrastructure to suffer. The resilience of her fellow Hoosiers in the face these struggles continues to inform her public service.

Almost a decade after her successful bid for State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Jennifer is running for Governor of Indiana to bring common sense and bipartisanship back to our state. If elected, Jennifer will put a stop to the Republican supermajority’s focus on fringe issues and stand up to policies that weaken public education and strip Hoosiers of their fundamental freedoms.
