Better Indiana is proud to endorse Hollie Payton for Indiana House District 73.
A lifelong Hoosier, Hollie developed a passion for advocacy as a pancreas transplant recipient and as the mother of a young man with autism. In 2022, Hollie became active within the Democratic Party after being elected as the Vice-Chairperson of the Decatur County Democrats. A year later, she co-founded the Decatur County Pride Alliance, which strives to provide a safe space for those in the LGBTQIA+ Community and beyond.
If elected, Hollie is committed to bringing a voice to the Statehouse that fights for and represents all Hoosiers— regardless of the party they support. As a women who has faced countless real-life challenges, Hollie knows the issues facing rural Hoosiers. Her resilience and sense of empathy enable her to offer them the representation they deserve.
